15. outlining the unknown

With no obvious characteristics besides outlines, silhouettes let the imagination fill in the blank spaces.  There’s nothing more intriguing than capturing something that exists to leave room for interpretation.  In one’s mind, the lack of details can become something specific and finite or simply an empty, basic space.  Besides the graphic appeal, the silhouette acts as a statement that one can simply dive into.
